MINQ Kitchen, a Halal Chinese Restaurant with Casual Ambience

MINQ Kitchen offers Chinese specialties processed using halal ingredients.

Most Indonesians are already familiar with Chinese specialties. Over time, Chinese food which used to almost always use pork as its raw material, is now beginning to explore using halal food ingredients. Restaurants that serve halal Chinese food and Muslim-friendly are now also increasingly easy to find. One of them is MINQ Kitchen, which just opened last December.

The restaurant under De La House group offers Chinese specialties processed using halal ingredients. The name MINQ itself was inspired by Ming Dynasty in the 14th century, the first Chinese dynasty to pay attention on how food is served.

You can find MINQ Kitchen on Jalan Suryo No.36 in Senopati, South Jakarta. This Chinese restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere that is perfecr for casual lunch and dinner. This new dining place in Senopati has a capacity of up to 66 visitors with 21 tables.

When you entering the 150 square meter restaurant, you’ll find a line of waving cat statues or known as Maneki Neko, which is believed to bring luck. While the floors look beautiful with Terrazzo motif.

For food, you can taste a wide selection of dim sum, seafood, claypot, Hainan rice, congee, Peking duck, to Hong Kong Noodle. As for the drinks, MINQ Kitchen offers a variety of bubble tea, juices and smoothies, coffee, soft drinks, as well as beer and soju.

Concerning the price, MINQ Kitchen starts from Rp. 15,000 to Rp. 360,000. If you come for lunch, you can choose lunch package for Rp 50,000 to Rp 70,000. Whereas, for the dimsum menu the prices ranging from Rp. 20,000 to Rp. 35,000, and peking duck is priced at Rp. 110,000 to Rp. 360,000.
