At a glance, its name sounds like diplomatic representative of one country. But, Kedubes Bekasi is a community for any art enthusiasts in Bekasi. Established in 2015, this community has quite interesting agenda, include paint exhibition, history and music workshop and other activities related to the art, like design, film and poetry.

To highlight the creative talents of youngsters in Bekasi, Kedubes Bekasi provides with basecamp, as a stage for any indie musicians in Jabodetabek to show their skills as well as screening short movies by its members.

Other things make this basecamp more interesting is a wide array of food stands, such Bebek Rempah Madura (Madura spicy duck), Martabak Telor Petis (stuffed pancake with beef and black colour shrimp paste), Kare Kambing Aceh (Aceh lamb curry), Oxtail Soup, Nasi Telor Memar (rice with fluffy egg), Soto Lamongan Cak Yanto (Lamongan chicken soup), Nasi Kresengan Gila (crazy rice), Gabus Pucung (cork in black soup) and many more.

Meanwhile this community is relatively new, it already successful launched a book and compilation album of more than 10 independent bands named “Samping Jakarta”. In addition, to introduce creative potential of Bekasi, Kedubes Bekasi also sells their works, such as passport, t-shirts and key chains at affordable prices.
