Welcoming rainy season probably affect your various daily activities including driving. When rain comes, motorbike or car riders need to be more careful. Slippery roads, visibility, standing water, all must be considered while driving in the rain. So, here are simple tips for driving safely during rain.

1. Tires

Slippery roads during rainy season have bigger potential to make your vehicle slip. It is highly recommended to check your tires continuously before ride. Do double check to ensure your tires in good conditions (not bald and so forth). Along with that, check the pressure, it simply because lack of pressure on your tires cause uncontrollably steering.

2. Lights

Make sure all your vehicle lights are properly function. While raining, your visibility is limited, lights help you see around clearly. Always turn on the headlights even if you drive in the morning or afternoon, it will help other (riders) see your vehicle.

3. Speed

Control your speed is another key of driving safely while raining. Road surfaces tend to more slippery while water (rain) meets motorbike or car oil. Another reason to note is safe distance of braking vehicle during rain should be done remotely. When you ride in medium speed, tires stand firmly on the road and make grip way better than driving in full speed.
