What cravings do you have on rainy days lately? The answer should be warm soup dishes, right? At Pasar Modern Bintaro Sektor 7, South Tangerang, there is a modest tent which always crowd with people every single night named Sop, Soto, and Oseng Bang Mamat.
Located between other tents at Pasar Modern Bintaro Sektor 7, Bang Mamat’s tent identical with long red tables. Here, you can choose soup, soto (with thicker broth/soup), and stir-fried beef or chicken at affordable prices.
Several days ago, Alinear has taste of beef and stir-fried beef which became their most recommended menu. First one came to the table was stir-fried beef which served with soup that you can choose, either clear or thicker broth with coconut milk.

Alinear did prefer clear broth which looked so tempting with piles of fried shallots and sprinkle of emping (chips). The plate might be look small, but the portion is so royal! Spices like shallots, cayenne peppers, and red tomatoes are quite generous covering each piece of beef. The flavour was bomb, savoury yet spicy, thanks to the chopped chili.

Thing made that stir-fried taste way better was the additional soup. It has fresh, savoury flavours which was perfect to be sipped right after you scooped a spoon of warm rice and beef.

While enjoying that stir-fried beef, your chosen beef soup came at the table. At first glance, it might be similar to other beef soups, but once you stir the soup with spoon, you can only find very generous piece of meat.
Both stir-fried and beef soup served with less fat, it was hard to find fat sticking to each piece of meat. After you add some lime juice, it taste fresher and tastier. Do not forget to add some shallot, green cayenne pepper, cucumbers and carrots pickled.
In several chewing, the beef has been cut perfectly. If you are lucky enough, you can also taste perkedel (potato fritters) in jumbo size. Despite its big size, inside part of its perkedel taste so soft just like melting in your mouth.
Speaking about the price, you can spend Rp30.000 for each beef soup and stir-fried beef (exclude rice). And that is the reason why people are lining up in this tent specificaaly after work to taste delicious beef dishes at affordable prices made of Bang Mamat.
