1. Spicy Food
Spicy food you eat while period trigger hot flashes, sudden feelings of warmth, which usually intense. Ingredients that make any food taste spicy will stick to your stomach and intestines. It makes a painful abdominal cramp.
2. Sweets
Period involves unstable levels of blood sugar. Eat unhealthy sweet food can affect blood sugar fluctuations and you will end up with mood swings. You can cut unhealthy sugar intake, like ice cream, candy, chocolate with fruits and yogurt.
3. Drinks Contain Caffeine
In addition of coffee, some drinks also contain caffeine, include tea, soda and chocolate drinks. According to researchers, caffeine can sometime cause discomfort or nausea. Along with that, caffeine make more difficult to fall asleep, while your body need more rest during period time. You can cut caffeine intake with mineral water.
