Almost everyone likes to share things on social media. It seems to be a routine activity, whether it's experiences you've just gone through or things that are personally, displayed on social media. When using social media there are things we can and cannot share with other users. Here are simple steps to use social media wisely.

1. Think Before Posting
Refrain from posting personal information, including your home address, telephone number, or routine activities. Don't let this information be misused by irresponsible parties. For example, you experience a tire burst while driving somewhere. Try not to post the incident on social media, to minimize crime. Because bad people may use the upload to steal your property and vehicles.

2. Say No to SARA and HOAX
Check again and make sure the content you want to share on social media does not contain elements of SARA and HOAX. This also applies to comments that you share on other people's posts. SARA is an action based on sentiments regarding a particular ethnicity, religion, race, or group. That is why issues containing SARA have the potential to divide society. Likewise with HOAXes, information whose source cannot be accounted for.

3. Block Negative Accounts
Do you often find negative content appearing on your social media explore page? Especially for content that contains hate speech or provocative sentences, you can immediately block the account. As a wise social media user, you certainly won't be easily provoked, let alone getting involved in debates in the comments column with other users.
