Children are still enthusiastic about learning even at home. Here are some tips that you can do for your children while studying online!

Appeals to carry out distance learning programs online or study at home from the government are certainly not an easy matter for many parents. There is no teacher supervising, and more comfortable conditions, of course, can make children lose concentration and be tempted to slack off. So, to keep children enthusiastic and not bored studying at home, there are some creative tricks you can apply.
1. Fill Rest Time with Fun Activities

As discussed in the previous article, while studying from home, parents are advised to stick to the school schedule, which means there are still breaks. Use the break time to do fun activities, but the child still feels relaxed. Prepare games (not online games) such as puzzles which are known to have many benefits including training patience, training problem-solving skills, training memory as well as training hand-eye coordination.
2. Rewards

The forms of gifts given vary, ranging from praise to the child's favorite snacks or items the child wants. The prizes here aim to train children to get used to facing difficulties. After successfully passing through these difficulties the child is entitled to a prize. For example, you can give a child's favorite snack after the child has successfully completed an assignment from the teacher, with the hope that the prize will be used as motivation by the child to increase enthusiasm for learning at home.
3. Become a “Teacher” to the Kid

During the learning process at home, parents must be prepared to become teachers for their children. In addition to preparing supporting facilities, as well as comfortable and conducive learning spaces, parents are also expected to be "temporary teachers" for their children. Take at least 30 minutes to teach or help children understand the learning material provided by the school. Make the discussion more fun, for example using real objects when teaching children to count. Use any object the child is familiar with such as colored pencils, lego, or fruit.
