YouTube is the best app to pass time for several smartphone users. There are so many videos that we see every day for fun, education and to get other information. However, sometimes the app gives you a hard time by showing connection error or by taking more time to load even if the internet connection is stable. Reported from GadgetsNow, it turns out there are two solutions for this problem. There are a couple of ways how you can reduce the buffering time or eliminate the network error issue. That is by clearing the cache of YouTube, and changing the video quality. Here’s how you to it.
A. Clearing Chached Data
1. On the phone, desktop or tablet open Chrome browser.
2. Tap on the three-line options menu.
3. On phone, tap on History, then Clear browsing data. On the desktop, click on More Tools, then Clear Browsing Data.
4. Android, Mac and PC users can select the time range for deleting data. This is not available on iPhone.
5. Select the options Cookies and Site Data and Cached Images and Files.
6. Tap on Clear Data.
B. Change the Video Quality
1. Tap on the three-line options menu on YouTube video for Android, then tap the gear icon or Video Quality. In Chrome, you can directly tap on the gear icon at the bottom right of the video, then select Quality.
2. You can switch to a lower resolution for the video to load faster. Video quality available from 144p to 1080p.
