The annual Wonderful Indonesia Culinary and Shopping Festival (WICSF) initiated by the Tourism Ministry and the Indonesian Shopping Center Association (APPBI) is return to entertain you for a third time. The festival has started since September 27 and will ended on October 27. Various discounts will lure you during the one-month-long.
The festival has officially open on September 27 at Beachwalk Shopping Center in Bali, coinciding with World Tourism Day. 150 malls across 20 provinces participate in the culinary and shopping festival, including Jakarta.
Tourism Minister Arief Yahya welcomed the event, which has entered the ministry's 100 Calendar of Event, and expects it to continue boosting the country's tourism. WICSF 2018 is also said to positively affect small and medium business players to continue manufacturing good quality products, from fabrics and batik clothes to tenun and other handicrafts.
Several malls in Jakarta participate in the event are Kota Kasablanka, Gandaria City, Baywalk Mall Pluit, Emporium Pluit Mall, Lippo Mall Puri, Mall Bassura, Lippo Mal Kemang, and Plaza Festival. Aside, there are also several interesting events such as Cultural Exhibiton, Traditional Culinary Fest, Bakmi Festival, Gebyar Batik Muda Nusantara, Go Food Festival di Garden Baywalk Mall, Festival Kuliner Asia dan kuliner “Jaman Now”, Culinary Vaganza, Pop Up Bazar Culinary, Food Bazaar Nusantara, Promo Spesial Makanan, and Bazaar Kuliner UMKM.
