Eid al-Fitr is still three months away. However, planning to mudik (homecominng) should be done in advance. One of the most important preparations to do is look for tickets, whether tickets for trains, buses, ships or planes. But the most excellent and fast-paced is train ticket which is often opened since H-90, or three months before Eid.

1. Find Tickets at Midnight
For those who want to buy train tickets for mudik, then be prepared to sleep late at night. Because train tickets are always released by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) starting at 00.00 WIB. If you overslept, don't be surprised if the ticket you are looking for is sold out. Because, usually in just a few hours the ticket will be sold out.
2. Check Tickets Early Morning
However, don't you just give up if the ticket sold out. Because train tickets can appear again after three or four hours. This usually happens because of tickets status changes have been ordered.
3. Book During Low Season
For those who will mudik by a plane, you are lucky because you don't need to be as busy as those who mudik by train. Because, even though Eid is still far away, flight tickets are still available. But the risk if you buy flight tickets before Eid is so expensive. So, try to buy flight tickets long before Eid. If you want a cheaper price, buy tickets during low season. Like March where not many people travel, so the price is cheaper.
