To reduce 3 in 1 jockey service in Jakarta, starting from April 5, 2016, tomorrow the trial for revocation of 3 in 1 policy will be started. Cars with one passenger will be allowed to pass the major arterial road of the city. For a week, the trial will be seen whether it is considered as an effective way or not.
3 in 1 will be erased because it is not considered as a solution to reduce the traffic jam in the city. Instead, the rule even added jockey service which leads to child labor and child exploitation with sedating the baby to make them keep sleeping while the parents do the jockey service.
The 3 in 1 tracks will be changed into The Area of Orderly Traffic Rules which crosses Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Sudirman, Thamrin, Medan Merdeka Barat, Majapahit, Pintu Besar Selatan, Pintu Besar Utara, Hayam Wuruk, part of Jalan Gatot Subroto to the junction of Jalan HR Rasuna Said.
In the future, Jakarta’s local government will apply Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) system, which will make you pay for a fee if you want to pass the road.
It is estimated that ERP will have Rp20.000,- of fee per one pass. This system is expected to reduce car usage that causes traffic on the main road. Other way is to take public transportation such as Transjakarta bus commuter line. Agree?
