Minecraft's popularity shot up on YouTube thanks to Swedish YouTuber and comedian PewDiePie who made content about this game. Starting on June 22, 2019, the gamer with his real name Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg released video content on his YouTube titled Minecraft Part 1 and has been watched more than 35 million times. After PewDiePie released the video, videos related to Minecraft on YouTube are increasingly watched.
