The Jakarta Great Sale Festival (FJGS) is back! Began on Sunday, August 12 with 82 shopping malls participating. FJGS will runs until September 4 in almost all shopping malls across the city. The discounts are up to 70%.
Aside from regular discounts, 16 malls would also open for midnight sales. As many as 39 malls would offer a lottery for Shoppercard shopping vouchers worth Rp 140 million in total. While 16 small businesses from the OK OCE program will also participate in the FJGS 2018 event.
The FJGS, which was introduced in 1982, is usually carried out to celebrate Jakarta’s anniversary. As such, this festival was already held in June for the city’s anniversary, but another such event will be now to enliven the Asian Games. The festival attempts to lure spectators and athletes to the shops.
