He has also starred in more than 53 films including Si Doel Anak Betawi which made his name raise the roof.

During his life, Bang Ben wanted to build Betawi cultural center. Last September 2018, his dream came true, right after the inauguration of Taman Benyamin Sueb by the Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.
