For residents of Ciracas in East Jakarta, to get relax while playing with children or to get light exercise don’t need to go far, because in this area there is a beautiful Green Open Space (RTH).
It’s Floating Park or Taman Apung, which is a collaboration between Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta and surrounding residents. The collaboration in question is the provincial government involved local residents in making the park to fit with what they want and need. Floating Park is also part of Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta program that targets the making of 30 green open space in Jakarta. This program is called Taman Maju Bersama.
You will find beautiful atmosphere at Floating Garden. Green trees look surrounding the park. There’s also wooden seats arranged like stairs. As the name implies, the park in East Jakarta is also enhanced by a quite big fish pond. For those who like taking photos, this park is also Instagramable.

In addition, some supporting facilities at Floating Park are also quite complete, such as toilets, parking area, and gazebo. The condition of the park is quite clean, because janitors regularly clean the park.
Floating Park is perfect for families who want to spend the morning together or mingle with friends. You can find this park on Jakarta Est. 3 7, in Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas, East Jakarta. The location is near Munjul Market.
To note, currently all parks in Jakarta have been temporarily closed until March 30, 2020 to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. During the closure, the park will be cleaned and sterilized.
