Another delicious and affordable food recommendation 150 meters away from Blok A MRT Station, Warung Sambel Pakde. Open from 6pm to 1am every day, this modest roadside stall ready to pamper your taste buds with delicious menu. And, one of recommended menu is Nasi Bakar (grilled rice).
There are Nasi Bakar Komplit (grilled rice with chicken, anchovy and salted dry fish), Nasi Bakar isi Teri (grilled rice with anchovy), Nasi Bakar isi Ikan Peda (grilled rice with salted dry fish) and Nasi Bakar isi Ayam (grilled rice with chicken). Right after you open the leaf wrapper, one explosion of tasty aroma comes out. You can taste savoury grilled rice with abundant fillings with spicy sambal (chilli paste) kicking your mouth.
If you find it is less spicy, you can ask for additional sambal, sambal teri Medan (chilli paste with Medan anchovy), sambal ijo (green chilli paste) and sambal terasi (shrimp chilli paste). There are also fried chicken and smashed chicken to make a portion of your Nasi Bakar taste way more delicious. You only need to pay from Rp19.000 for a portion of Nasi Bakar.
