Mega Pesona Budaya Nusantara 2019 is an epic collaboration of Community of Minang Arts and Culture Enthusiasts (KPSBM) and Minang Family Association (IKM). This festival will be held for three days, February 22 – 24th 2019 at Arcici Sport Center, Central Jakarta, for free.
A wide array of Minang arts and culture will be available here, including Tabuik’s show (tradition of commemorating Ashura, the death of grandson of Propher Muhammad SAW by rocking Tabuik Tower) which will be recorded as the highest Tabuik Tower, colossal drama “Sang Penyelamat” (The Savior), plate dance parade, Tambua parade (drum parade) and Tabligh Akbar (large-scale Qur’anic recitation event). In addition to add some excitement, you can also enjoy a lot of Minang cuisine and buy various West Sumatra crafts at reasonable prices.
