At least that is what happened to the legendary Martabak outlet in Manggarai, South Jakarta. Besides being famous for its deliciousness, Martabak AA still maintains the classic version of Martabak.

This martabak seller started selling since 1981. At that time Martabak AA was still selling at Jalan Dr. Saharjo, then in 1990 they moved to Manggarai.
The most favorited martabak here are Martabak Spesial Keju Cokelat (Rp 80.000), Martabak Telur Spesial Sapi (Rp 80.000), dan Martabak Telur Ayam (Rp 63.000). In terms of price it’s indeed more expensive than other classic martabak sellers, but the portion of martabak here is quite big, with so much toppings. Martabak AA only sells classic martabak and has never changed since long ago. Like chocolate martabak, cheese martabak, and egg martabak. For sweet martabak, the texture is very soft and soft, with Wijsman butter spread. It’s so delicious! As for Martabak Telur Spesial Sapi, the cuts are quite big and thick. It doesn't look too brown. The texture is crispy, with a mixture of eggs and minced meat in it. The taste is not too oily because they use lean beef.
