English heavy metal band Judas Priest are scheduled to perform in Jakarta on December 7 at Ecopark Ancol in North Jakarta. The live concert is slated to kick off at 20.00 and is organized by Rajawali Indonesia Communication, the promoter of the JogjaROCKarta Festival and Prambanan Jazz. Concertgoers can purchase regular tickets which have been sale since August 5, the price starting at Rp 650,000 (exclude tax & admin fee).
The Indonesia concert is part of Judas Priest's worldwide tour, which includes performances in Argentina, Brazil, Japan and France. The band formed in 1969 released its latest studio album, Firepower, in March. Judas Priest also has been one of President Joko Widodo’s favorite metal bands, aside from Metallica. Jokowi attend the band’s concert in Singapore back in 2012.
