MRT Jakarta has officially underwent a public trial run since March 12 and will last until March 24. What does it feel like? What about the facilities? Alinear had tried use the new transportation mode in Jakarta on Saturday, March 16. We went from Sisingamangaraja MRT Station, near the PLN Bulungan office. The station will also be integrated with CSW Transjakarta bus stop by a skywalk.
Arrived at the front of the stairs to go up to the station, we were greeted warmly by two security personnel, then asked us to show our Trial Run MRT Jakarta e-ticket reservation via Bukalapak app. After that, we were welcome to go up. Passing through a hallway, then again greeted friendly by the Jakarta MRT staff. They then asked us to show our e-ticket booking code, checked it, then scan the booking code and let us go straight to the platform. There was an officer who gave us Trial Run MRT Jakarta sticker and asked us to put the sticker on our shirt.
Aside the stairs, at each station there are also escalators and elevators to facilitate disability passengers, the elderlies, and pregnant women or those who bring their childrens to go up or down to the station. However, some stations still have elevators that cannot be used yet. All stations also feel cold, including the platform above. Yes, all the air conditioners at the station work well. Of course there are also toilet facilities, prayer room, nursing room, first aid room, and more.

The ambience at Sisingamangaraja MRT Station was quite. Many passengers choose to go from Bundaran HI and Lebak Bulus Stations. There are also several security officers on the platform. There is also a notice board inform the train arrival. What attracts our attention the most is the area marked by green and yellow triangle. The area with green triangle is an area for passengers get off the train. While the yellow triangle area is a waiting area for passengers get on the train. Passengers are prohibited from standing too close to the barrier between the platform and the train track. The barrier will open if there is a train coming.
It did not take long time, the train to Lebak Bulus Station arrived. Enter the train, the air was quite cool. There are blue passenger seats. And handrails for standing passengers, some with high and low distances. In each carriage there are also security officers, empty areas for passengers who use wheelchairs or carry folding bikes, public announcements, and emergency buttons. Because the track from Sisingamangaraja MRT Station to Lebak Bulus are elevated constructions, then along the way we were enjoyed quite charming city view.

It only takes about 15 minutes, the train arrived at Lebak Bulus MRT Station. Here, so many passengers were enthusiastically trying out MRT to Bundaran HI Station. Many of them are busy taking selfies. We also tried MRT from Lebak Bulus to Bundaran HI.
If from Lebak Bulus to Sisingamangaraja Station are elevated constructions, from Senayan Station to Bundaran HI using underground construction. Of course there was no city view can be enjoyed, but it was still good because this is the first time Indonesia has underground transportation.

We decided to get off at Dukuh Atas Station. The trip only takes around 20 minutes, so smooth! Exit from the station, there are already several Metro Trans buses for MRT passengers who want to continue their trip. The station will also become an integrated area with five public transportation modes in Jabodetabek, including MRT, LRT, Transjakarta, Commuter Line, and Soekarno-Hatta Airport trains.
