Perumda Pasar Jaya in collaboration with Agromedia Pustaka and Bank DKI hold JakBook Festival 2019 which has been going on from 25 October to 3 November 2019 in the exhibition area, Pasar Kenari 3rd Floor in Central Jakarta. There are 2000 local and imported books from well-known publishers that you can find at this book exhibition, such as novels by Fiersa Besari, Boy Chandra, and Risa Saraswati, to educational books.
The price of books is very affordable, starting from Rp. 5,000. Not only that, JakBook Festival also offers discount up to 70%. For Jakartans who want to buy books on JakBook, can use the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) and Jakarta Superior Student Card (KJMU) to get discounted prices.
JakBook is the first book market in Jakarta which was established to provide books at low prices. The book market managed by PD Pasar Jaya was inaugurated last April by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan. There are several bookstores that sell various types of books at JakBook, ranging from educational books to novels.
