Fujin offers Japanese whiskey and teppanyaki.

Wondering where to get teppanyaki and Japanese whiskey at the same place? Fujin is your place to go. The place perfect for a fun night out with friends. Fujin is a part of Biko Group, which also owns establishments such as Pao Pao and Beer Garden. The bar specialized in Hiroshima-style teppanyaki and wide range of Japanese whisky following the success of its predecessors Rayjin Teppanyaki Dining in Bali.

Fujin’s location is not exactly hard to find, located just before Torino, and on the right side of the street. Once you enter the restaurant you will notice the huge teppanyaki cooking area along with long bar area in the center of the restaurant. You will love the fact that the place is designed in a simple way, not exactly super spacious and have low ceiling, somehow it creating that homey ambience.

Also open for lunch soon, but when night Fujin become more fun by the crowd, the big bar in the middle and sort of dimmed yellow. You have the option of sitting at regular tables up front or at the large bar that takes up most of the restaurant space. Every once in a while, the bartenders will yell out “Kanpai!” which means “cheers!” before downing shots of drink to your glass.

Fujin does indeed boast an extensive drinks menu that includes hot and cold sake, Japanese craft beer, Umeshu (the Japanese fruit liqueur), handcrafted cocktails, and of course, award-winning Japanese whiskey. If you are feeling for something a touch more refreshing, you should try with the Bobby’s Rose, a gin and rose syrup concoction with the right amount of sweet. Or for those cocktail and cheesecake lovers, Cheesecake Cocktail can be your best option. The cheesecake tastes softer and lighter in a way. Inside there’s cookies crumble with a little orange liqueur and mix berries sauce.

For the food, the most recommended here is Chicken Nanban, a fried chicken dish that is soaked in sweet sour sauce and served with tartare sauce. There is also Teppanyaki Garlic Rice which is very addicting with inviting charred garlic aroma that will make you unable to stop after first spoonful.
