Easy Ways to Remove Odors and Stains from Plastic Containers

Food helps to get rid odors and stains on your plastic containers.

Available in different sizes and shapes, plastic containers are ideal for storing food in refrigerator, food supplies and food serving. Hence, odors and stains become enemies for plastic containers. Even you already wash with large amount of dishwashing soap, you still find stubborn odors and stains. No worries, these ingredients help you get rid of stubborn odors and stains for your favourite plastic containers.

1. Baking Soda

You can use baking soda for stubborn stains (oil) on your plastic containers. Based on the size of your plastic containers, prepase basin with warm water and little amount of baking soda. Mix well before dipping your plastic containers. Let sit for 10 minutes more less, removed with dishwashing soap especially on the sides of containers, rinse until clean.

2. Vinegar

Besides baking soda, vinegar also believed to get rid of stubborn odors and stains on your plastic containers. Soak your plastic containers (which already washed with dishwashing soap) into mixture of warm water and little amount of vinegar for 3 minutes. Then wash for second time with dishwashing soap and rinse until clean. Vinegar also believed to get rid bad odors on your plastic containers.

3. Lemon

Lemon has sources of natural citric acid. It has much the same use as vinegar which used to remove odors and stains on plastic containers or dishes glassware. You can use both lemon juices of slices of lemon to get rid odors and stains. Combination of lemon and little mount of baking soda is perfect for get rid stubborn odors and stains. While rubbing slices of lemon on your plastic containers, add a little amount of baking soda, wash with dishwashing soap and rinse until clean.
