You who often crossing Gandaria area may have memorized that this area have many places to eat with the current concept. One of them is Warung Bakmi Mpek Tjoen. Although this place is a noodle stall, but inside, there are no noodle stall elements at all.
Uniquely, this restaurant has a symbol consisting of four languages, Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. Warung Bakmi Mpek Tjoen occupies a fairly spacious room with modern rustic nuance. In the middle of the room there is a long glass that shows the atmosphere in the kitchen.

Despite carrying the name of noodle stall, the restaurant in Gandaria does not only offer noodles. Combining the concept of Chinese-style noodles and Indonesian food, Warung Bakmi Mpek Tjoen serves everything from snacks to heavy meals that are ready to spoil your tongue.
As the name implies, it's incomplete if you don't taste the noodle menu here, one of which is become a favorite is Bakmi Bakso (Rp. 45,000). The menu is served in big bowl, containing noodles, pieces of chicken, sliced leeks and celery, sprinkles of fried onions, and lime juice, and two meatballs and broth soup served in separate bowls. You can also order the thickness level of your noodles.
The noodles texture taste chew, not too soft with the right level of maturity. There is a savory taste derived from sesame oil. Even without the soup, the taste of the noodles is already good. The boneless chicken slices taste tender. As for the meatball, it has a chewy texture with strong beef flavor. Fresh lime juice makes this dish even more delicious.

For complement, you can order Pangsit Goreng (Rp. 17,400) containing five big fried dumplings. The fried dumplings are quite special because they contain shrimp dough which is perfect to be a friend of your bakmi.
Other noodles menus that are not less interesting include Bakmi Ayam, Bakmi Ayam Jamur, Bakmi Pangsit Rebus, and Bakmi Pangsit Goreng. Other than noodles that you should also try is Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng. If you need a light intake, Warung Bakmi Mpek Tjoen also serves Roti Maryam and Roti Srikaya.
