PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is working with Traveloka through the Financial Services business unit for Bills & Top-up products. This partnership allows Brizzi electronic money card holders to check remaining balance and top up via Traveloka app with a nominal value of Rp 10,000 to Rp 999,999.
This collaboration is a joint effort in enhancing the development of the digital payment ecosystem and cashless society in Indonesia. This has become one of the touch point for Brizzi to provide convenience for BRI customers and collaborate with Traveloka users. With the convenience of topping up the balance, it is hoped that its reach will be wider.
Going forward, BRI and Traveloka do not rule out the possibility to cooperate in other services, such as Traveloka tickets and Traveloka Eats. Regarding the target, BRI and Traveloka are targeting Brizzi to be used by 15.5 million users by the end of 2019. As for now, BRI has recorded that the circulation of cards has reached 14.9 million with 391 million transactions.
The Brizzi top up feature on Traveloka app utilizes NFC feature on a smart phone. Which means, the process of checking balances and top up can only be done for users who have smart phones with NFC feature.
Here’s how to top up Brizzi via Traveloka app:
1. Open the Traveloka app version 3.15.3 and above, then select the Bills & Top Up.
2. Choose Electronic Money.
3. Stick the Brizzi card into the back of your smartphone, then the Traveloka app will automatically read your Brizzi card's information and balance.
4. After the transaction is successful, you can activate the balance by using NFC by opening the Balance Update page which can be accessed through the Order List.
5. Stick the Brizzi card into your smartphone, then the Traveloka app will read and confirm the Brizzi balance that has been top-uped.
