Bintang Emon Hilarious Critics for Mask Hoarders

A stand-up comedian, Bintang Emon again gave a striking message delivered through his jokes in the DPO video series about Covid-19 pandemic.

A stand-up comedian, Bintang Emon again gave a striking message delivered through his jokes in the DPO (Dewan perwakilan Omel-Omel) video series about Covid-19 pandemic. If before, Bintang offended people who didn't care about the coronavirus, now he highlighted mask hoarders.

In a 1-minute and 49-second video uploaded to his Twitter account, Bintang opens it with thanks to the medical staff who are tirelessly trying to cure patients and become the front guard in the war against Covid-19.

Through his roasting, he started talking about two Jakartans who had gone viral some time ago for shopping at the super market using hazmat clothes.

“Dokter yang ngelawan corona banyak nih yang kebagian APD (Alat Pelindung Diri), jadinya pake jas ujan. Lawan corona pake jas ujan, gue jadi virusnya juga tersinggung itu. Nah elu, cuma nyari mayones doang pake APD lu. Kok bisa lu PD lu ya? Gue sumpahin tu ritsletingnya ilang biar kekunci lu di dalem,” said Bintang.

He also discusses irresponsible persons who hoard masks for their own benefit. "Yang egois banyak banget, yang nimbun masker lah, Allahuakbar, segitunya cari duit lu ya. Lu kalo mau kaya, ikut Super Deal, bos! Jangan mahalin harga masker, ini lagi banyak yang perlu!" continued Bintang.

The man whose real name is Gusti Bintang ended the video #DPOCorona2 with a very funny joke. "Dimohon turunin harga, lu bilang 'ah kaga ah males'. Males lu ya, lu bilang lu ya. Lu gua sumpahin pas lu meninggal tukang gali kuburnya juga males lu. Ngegali satu lobang doang panjang ke dalem, biar dikubur berdiri kayak pondasi lu. Sukurin lu, belum ditanya malaikat udah pegel lu," said Bintang.

To note, Bintang Emon is a stand-up comedian after winning the Stand Up Comedy Academy 3, which was held by Indosiar in 2017. His name is increasingly soaring after uploading a DPO (Dewan Perwakilan Omel-Omel) video series which discusses the coronavirus.

In the short video, Bintang protested those who ignored the virus outbreak. Even though it was presented in a nagging way, the humor inside made the message in the video well conveyed. No doubt, the video has now been watched more than 7 million times and received many praises from Indonesian celebrities.
