1. Taka Bonerate National Park, South Sulawesi

Diving is actually fun activity, even for beginners. If anyone know perfect ways to enjoy this kind of sport, it surely will be your unforgettable experience in a lifetime. One of best diving spots in Indonesia you should not ever miss is Taka Bonerate National Park located in South Sulawesi.

At least, here, you can dive in more than 20 dive points based on license you have. For example, if you have an advanced license, you can try a beautiful spot, look like a wall in Latondu. There are also other spots can be enjoyed as well by any type of licenses, like Corina Corner, Fujiyama, Pinky Fish and Ibel Orange. What makes Taka Bonerate more beautiful? They are a third atoll (coral reef) in the world right after Marshall Island and Maldives.

2. Cendrawasih Bay National Park, West Papua

Known as a national park with the widest waters in Indonesia, Cendrawasih Bay is a perfect spot to enjoy beauty of underwater scenery with largest shark species named Rhincodon typus also known as whale shark. Located in Kwantisore village, those giant animals appear in groups and individual if you use Puri fish (small sized anchovy) as bait. There are also dugongs, turtles and dolphins ready to accompany your underwater journey.

3. North Halmahera, North Maluku

Along with Ternate island, Halmahera also has some interesting snorkelling and diving spots. In North Halmahera, there are several points for diving, like Kakara Besar island, Tupu-tupu island, Lima island, Pawole island and beautiful Volcano Underwater in Gelala. Waters of North Halmahera rich in fishes, if you are lucky enough, you can see groupers with a length more than one meter. Here, you can also enjoy World War II relics on at Bobale island.
