Be aware of the causes of frequent sleepiness

Often feel sleepy? Be alert to the following signs that could be detrimental to your health!
 
Often feel that sleep is enough, but drowsiness is often unavoidable. If this happens to you, there may be several factors compromising your health. Come on, find out the cause here!

1. Diabetes
Glucose is a type of sugar in the body. If glucose levels are high and not used, the body will automatically have no energy. The result is that you can feel sleepy all the time. To overcome this, try to reduce sugar consumption from food and drinks.

2. Anemia
Anemia or lack of red blood cells means your body also lacks iron. Red blood cells which function to distribute oxygen throughout the body will also decrease, so you will always feel sleepy. Don't be surprised if you yawn all day because yawning is a sign that your body is lacking oxygen.

3. Dehydration
A body that lacks fluids can also cause you to often feel sleepy. Apart from being bad for your health, one sign that your body is dehydrated is excessive sleepiness. So don't forget to fulfill your drinking needs of 1.5-2 liters of water every day so you don't get dehydrated!

4. Eating Too Much
Often sleepy after eating? This is because the body needs a lot of energy to process the food you consume. So, the more food you eat, the more energy your body will need. When a lot of energy is expended, drowsiness will automatically come. Limit your food portions to maintain your body's health.

5. Lack of Exercise
Lack of exercise causes your body's metabolism to become hampered, as a result, a body that doesn't move enough will make you often feel sleepy. Even though exercise is very important to maintain a healthy body and prevent you from getting sick. Do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day to keep your body healthy.
