Angkasa Pura II Building World Quality Airport on the West of Indonesia

PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) is one of the State-owned Enterprises who runs in aviation service and business in Indonesia, focusing on Indonesian airports in west region.

Angkasa Pura II is already trusted by the Government of Indonesian Republic to manage the Cengkareng Airport which now changed the name into Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Jakarta and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport since 13th August 1984.

The existence of Angkasa Pura II started from Public Company (Perum) with the name of Perum Pelabuhan Udara Jakarta Cengkareng through the Government Regulation No. 20 of 1984. And then on 19th May 1986, according to the Government Regulation No. 26 of 1986, it changed into Perum Angkasa Pura II.

And then on 17th March 1992, according to Government Regulation No. 14 of 1992 it changed into Limited Liability Company (PT/Persero). As long as the company runs, on 18th November 2008, according to Notarial Deed Silvia Abbas Sudrajat, SH, SpN No. 38, it then officially changed into PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero).

The establishment of Angkasa Pura II was in order to run the management of aviation service by optimizing the empowerment of potential resource and the good establishment of company management. Those things are hoped to create high quality product and service with strong competitiveness, so it can improve the company value and people’s trust.

The name of Angkasa Pura II has already showed rapid improvement in aviation service business by adding various infrastructure and improving the service quality in each of the airports they managed.

Angkasa Pura II has already managed 13 airports, such as Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Jakarta), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Kualanamu (Medan), Supadio (Pontianak), Minangkabau (Padang), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Husein Sastranegara (Bandung), Sultan Iskandarmuda (Banda Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjungpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi), Depati Amir (Pangkal Pinang) and Silangit (Tapanuli Utara).
