As from July 7, all Telkom users—IndiHome, Telkomsel, and Wifi.id—can access movies, TV shows, and serial streaming service, Netflix. This good news announced through the official Twitter account of Netflix Indonesia.
In order to adjust huge demands in Indonesia, Netflix is committed to not airing prohibited contents including child pornography, terrorism, Intellectual Property Rights (HAKI) and defame particular groups of individuals.
Telkom’s vice president corporate communications, Arif Prabowo confirmed the exact point as quoted from kompas.com, “Telkom appreciate Netflix’s change of approach for Indonesian market. Therefore, we provide the opportunity for TelkomGroup users to access various entertainment contents by Netflix.”
Thus, he added, “Since, TelkomGroup has a (network) structure, availability would vary with different stages (time).” For those who cannot access Netflix need to have a little patience.
