“Atelier” is a french word means a studio or workshop for artist. This word used by fashion elite foruntuk labeling their mode house.
But, Atelier is different, not related to fashion at all. AMKC Atelier is a place for you who wants to indulging your tongue with exclusive dishes. This fine-dining restaurant located at Plaza Indonesia ground floor, right across Socieaty.
Step into this restaurant with 70 seats, you will find simple, elegant, and chic impression. There was not much happening with the design, it was just neat and clean with a lot of white, along with the classy ambiance to it. It feels like you are in a France cafe, in a elite are Upper East Side, New York City, America.

The name of AMKC is an akronim from the owner initials, a husband and wife, chef Adhika Maxi and Karen Carlotta. For culinary enthusiasts, they are so popular. Chef Adhika focus on the making of hot kitchen gourmet in American-France style. While his wife, chef Karen focus on pastry and dessert making.
Like how designer make a masterpiece dress in an atelier, Adhika do the same thing at AMKC. He making food with a perfect taste. That's why they only serve limited menu.
Black Truffle Choux is the favorite menu at AMKC. This appetizer menu is the new sus cake interpretation from the chef with black truffle as the filling. Don't worry, this sus cake is smaller than the common sus cake. Black Truffle Choux consists of 5 pieces of sus cake.
For the main menu, you can choose Truffled Angel Hair. A combination of chewy texture rom thin pasta, crunchy from toast crumbs or as they called with crouton.

3. Bunga Rampai
White building at Cik Diktiro street, Central Jakarta, a colonial architectural style of the early 20th century embellished with eclectic decoration and romantic-masculine shades like black, grey, and gold. Displayed on its corners are collector’s pieces such as Palembang antique cloth and Palembang antique cupboards to enhance the luxurious atmosphere. Such classic and romantic impression can be found on the first and second floor. On the third floore are the rustic, natural, and romantic nuances fill in the unique green architectural style. That old house now popular as Bunga Rampai.
The use of Bunga Rampai name was because the owner wants to hint special meaning. Bunga rampai is a term for flowers setting that put together in a bouquet, creating scent and charm. As well as this restaurant that serves wide selection of Indonesian food at its best.
Built by five women, Bunga Rampai always tried to serving an authentic Indonesian fare. Such as sate lilit Bali, bakwan jagung and ikan bakar Manado, Javanese nasi buketan ijo, rendang Malin Kundang from Padang, empek-empek Palembang, and more.
Even for nasi goreng menu, they have a lot of it. You can order nasi goreng with the region name, order nasi goreng kampung, and nasi goreng seafood. There is also nasi goreng rebana, which is a lamb nasi goreng with special ingredients. That's why nasi goreng rebana become the favorite one.
For the drinks, every month Bunga Rampai presenting mocktail of the month. One of them is Strawberry Lassi and Fruit Punch, a combination of kiwi, lychee, and melon.

All Bunga Rampai's rooms use flowers name. Kacapiring room for smoking room and Kemuning room for the lounge. Teratai room is the most favorite room, or we can call it porch. All around glasses in this room, make the room brighter. On the two sides, there is a small cabinet with vase contain flowers on the top.
Not like the formal Anyelir room, Alamanda room behind the restaurant has casual ambience. The floor in this room is unique and pull your attention.
Bunga Rampai has botanical theme. And yes, almost in every corner of the room decorated by flowers. When it comes to night, you will feel the romantic nuance. The sound of violin, cello and guitar filling the room softly, make you feels like you are in the overpast year.

4. Atico by Javanegra
Do you want to enjoy good food with your partner this afternoon? Then, you should come to Atico. This stunning rooftop restaurant serves a wide array of Spanish food.
Atico occupies quite a spacious space with one private dining section and a rooftop area where you can sit back and have a good time after work. They also occupy thin marble tables, and still include the earthy homey vibe. And what about the food? What should we choose here? Alinear recommend you to try Pollo Asado (Rp 150.000). Contains half portion of Andalusian roasted chicken. The chicken is so beautifully cooked that the meat is soft and tender along with the semi-crispy skin, it is also the homemade savory sauce that really elevated the flavor, it is just so tasty & complemented the chicken very nicely. There are also pieces of baby potato, garlic, cherry tomato, rosemary and herbs dressing chicken.
Satisfied by Pollo Asado, now the time for dessert. Dates Pudding (Rp 55.000) could be your perfect dessert. Like its name, this hot pudding made from dates.
For coffee lovers, you should try Cortado (Rp 30.000). This Spanish macchiato has bitter taste with a bit of acid taste. Cortado served with a cookie.
Or for chocolate lovers, Cold Belgian Chocolate (Rp 60.000) is the best choice for you. Using Belgian chocolate, it has sweet light and strong chocolate. Atico is definitely one of the best fine-dining restaurants, food wise, place wise, service wise all terrific.

5. Ristorante Da Valentino
This Chef Marco's restaurant you will invite to enjoy Italian authentic food. The interior is very fancy and elegant with dark railings, brick walls, gray tablecloth and red chairs. Located at 11st floor of MD Place, Ristorante has a best menu that you should try, Burrata Cheese with Cherry Tomatoes and Salad. Burrata is a soft creamy cheese and can rarely be found in Jakarta. The texture is really nice, soft juicy creamy yet very light at the same time served with sweet and tangy cheery tomatoes, greens, and balsamic vinegar caviar.
Yo can also find various homemade pasta and one the best selling menu is Fettuccine al Granchio, squid ink fettuccine with crab meat in creamy tomato sauce. The homemade squid ink fettuccine was lovely and cooked nicely al dente while the sauce was balanced in terms of creaminess and tanginess. Highly recommended!
