In order to welcoming New Year 2020, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta will hold a variety of exciting and memorable entertainment. Visitors will be entertained by performances from well-known Indonesian artists on the main stage which is placed at PP ASEAN Summit of Science and Technology Non-Block, starting at 19.00 WIB.
Not only that, New Year’s Eve 2020 at TMII will be even more festive with the presence of Indonesian and international magicians. Their action will also be broadcast live on national television starting at 23.00 to 00.15 WIB.
New Year’s Eve at TMII will also be enlivened by the attraction of 6,900 fireworks that will be fired at the Miniature Lake of Indonesian Archives. The fireworks that will light TMII sky is expected to last for 15 to 20 minutes.
Some pavilions at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah will also present a variety of great performances. As in Bentar Temple Stage which will feature an all-night puppet performance with the proud mastermind of Indonesia Ki Manteb Soedharsono, in Jakarta Pavilion will entertain visitors with musical performances of kromong xylophone and Malay orchestra. While in Bengkulu Pavilion visitors will be entertained by traditional dance music and Indonesian Malay songs.
In addition to New Year's Eve, a variety of great activities will also be held at the beginning of the year, January 1, 2020, including the performance of keroncong sigrak music on the Putro Pendowo Stage, Tambur Minang in Pancasila Monument area, and many more.
For security, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah in collaboration with Indonesian National Armed Forces and Indonesian National Police will deploy 340 joint personnel. Are you ready for celebrate new year’s eve at TMII?
