On IFA2015 event held in Berlin, Germany, Ricoh introduced their new breakthrough in visual digital equipment through their newest product, Ricoh Theta S. Theta S is a pocket camera that can take a picture and record a video in 360 degrees.
This camera supports full HD video with 30 frames per second to 25 minutes duration. Theta S has a built in sensor of 1/ 2.3-inches 12-megapixel with an aperture of f/2.0. With that lens specification, Theta S can take spherical picture with total 14-megapixel resolution.
Theta S has also maximized the Wi-Fi feature so it can transfer a data 4 times faster than another camera. This camera can be integrated with application in Android and iOS smartphone to adjust the settings and move pictures. Theta S can also do live streaming via HDMI and USB.

The integration with Google Maps is its superior feature because the user can upload the 360 degrees image of a place which is really similar to the real place. Then, the image can be viewed using Google Streetview.
