Eat Delicious Dim Sum with Cozy Ambience at Ling Ling

Ling Ling Jakarta presents a wide array of dim sum and tea.

Open since 2015, Ling Ling Dim Sum & Tea House has become one of main center in Petogogan area, Kebayoran Baru, because it serves Chinese food in a modern casual concept with an industrial theme. Across Jalan Cikajang, you can recognize this Syah Establishments restaurant from the red Ling Ling inscription displayed on the front of the restaurant.

When you step inside, you will encounter unfinished walls and floors, according to their industrial theme. Even so, the atmosphere is still memorable modern and cozy. The arrangement is simple and neat. At first glance it doesn’t look like a Chinese restaurant except chopsticks placed on the table. Ling Ling also provides a smoking area on the terrace area which is quite comfortable.

As the name implies, Ling Ling presents a wide array of dim sum and tea. For tea, you can choose Java Black Tea, White Jasmine, Yellow Gold Oolong, Black Pu Erh, and Ceylon Black Tea. The tea menu at this Chinese restaurant is priced around Rp. 30,000. While the dim sum is divided into four types, steamed dim sum, deep-fried dim sum, baked pan-fried dim sum, and cheung fan dim sum. The price ranges between Rp. 25,000 to Rp. 37,500.

Besides dim sum and tea, Ling Ling Jakarta also offers other menu that are no less tempting, including noodles, rice & congee, seafood, tofu, duck, beef, chicken, soup, small & eggs, and dessert. You don't need to worry, because all the menu here are guaranteed halal! If you can't eat without rice, Claypot Rice (Rp. 65,000) can be the right choice.

With an appetizing aroma, this menu is placed in a claypot to keep the rice warm. The rice texture is fluffier with a mild savory taste. Grilled chicken meat topping is quite a lot with a slightly crunchy outer texture and soft on the inside. Claypot Rice is more delicious because there are sliced ear mushrooms and shiitake in it. Large portions can be enjoyed for 2 or 3 people.

For dim sum fans, don’t miss to try their dim sum. The highly recommended one is Prawn & Beancurd Cheung Fan (Rp. 37,500). The menu consists of eight small pieces of cheung fan dim sum doused with brown sauce. Dim sum skin tastes chewy and tasty. It getting more delicious when combined with crispy shrimp wrapped in it. The cheung fan menu is served with two types of chili sauce, dark red chili oil and red orange with a sweet and spicy taste.

Ling Ling Dim Sum & Tea House itself was previously located in Kuningan area, South Jakarta. Then move to Jalan Cikajang with a new atmosphere and more friendly prices. So when will you come here?
