The number of downloads of TikTok in the App Store reaches 33 million from January to March 2019. The second most popular app is YouTube, followed by Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger which complements the top five apps on iOS.
While on the Android, WhatsApp is at the top. The Facebook's instant messaging app was downloaded 199 million times during the first quarter of 2019. The next most popular apps in a row are Messenger, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
Despite being in third place, TikTok has been accused of 88.6 million new users on the Android platform. This figure increased 8.2 times compared to the same period last year.
