Inaugurated in early December 2019, PT Cinemaxx Global Pasifik spoiled moviegoers by presenting Cinepolis, at Pejaten Village Mall in South Jakarta, as an option for watching movies in the theater. Cinepolis itself is a rebranding of the cinema group that was previously present with the name Cinemaxx.
Cinepolis at Pejaten Village is the first cinema in Indonesia to feature an RGB screen projection system. The new technology embedded in all Cinepolis Pejaten Village auditoriums also offers bright image quality and capable picture reality. That way, moviegoers can feel the experience of watching a movie that is so real.
Besides carrying out a different screen concept, the cinema also introduces the concept of double-deck in its auditoriums, which combines regular and VIP seats in the same auditorium.

Although it is a newcomer in Indonesia, Cinepolis has actually been around since 48 years ago in other countries such as Mexico, Brazil, and United States. In Indonesia itself, after opening at Pejaten Village, the plan is to open four other Cinepolis cinemas.
In addition, Cinepolis also plans to introduce the world-famous big-screen format, Macro XE. Cinema with Macro XE technology does not only offer premium big screens, but also stadium seat models with ergonomic design. That way, the audience will be more comfortable while enjoying the film because it is unobstructed.

There will also be new cinema concepts, such as Cinepolis Junior, which allows parents to watch movies calmly. If during this time children in cinema often invite controversy, Cinepolis Junior will later offer a playground as a safe daycare center, while parents enjoy the movie.
