Because the community that was founded in July 2018 contains people who are learning makeup, such as being a beauty vlogger or MUA.
Although just over a year old, but now BeautyCollab members have reached more than 800. Most of them are from Jabodetabek. But there are also those from Sumatera and Kalimantan.
BeautyCollab often organizes activities to facilitate its members to become more proficient in makeup stuff. This community started as a makeup collaboration, where they did a makeup collab through instant messaging application, Line, with a specific theme. Then, they also make collab reviews, and collaborate with some beauty products.
Now, BeautyCollab members also often hold gatherings. Usually, the gathering is filled with various themes about makeup, as well as being a place of learning. In this community, there are many members with different expertise. They won’t hesitate to share their knowledge about makeup.
Some achievements were achieved by the BeautyCollab community during their one year trip. Starting from held some online events, such asMakeup Collaboration and Review Collaboration, as well as offline event, Micro Influencer Class, a beauty class and workshop held in February in Jakarta, and in several other cities.
Maria Octavia as the founder of BeautyCollab hopes that this community can develop and become a forum to facilitate members who have interests and abilities about makeup and beauty. She also hopes that BeautyCollab can be more recognized by the public and has more members.
