7 Tips to Stay Safe at Concert

In the aftermath of the bombing at Ariana Grande concert in Manchester Arena, some people feel unsafety while come to some events. Here are some tips to remember when you go to a concert.

1. Do not forget the ID

Make sure you are prepared before head to the concert. Keep your ID card close, passport at least.

2. Keep things simple

In emergency situation, move away from the centre. Use smaller bag, like tote bag, sling bag or waist bag so you can easily run.

3. Phone ready

Use your phone wisely, taking pictures and video is fine thing but make sure the battery is draining because of your Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook and Twitter. Just wait to post it. Also bring your power bank to keep your family or relatives close.

4. Be prepared

There are two different gate out, at least, and two different gate in to go to the venue. Listen for any announcements promotors made. See if you can identify the location of emergency exit closest.

5. Comfortable one

Pick the flexible, durable and comfortable clothes. You can wear t-shirt and short jeans at the concert festival. But if you are willing to come to Jazz music concert, wear comfortable yet flexible one.

6. Be active

Keep an eye out for suspicious things. If you see someone acting strangely or in uncomfortable ways, notify security.

7. Move away
