Interesting places in Jakarta for photo lovers.

Still in celebration of the Jakarta anniversary, this time Alinear returned to recommend you some Instagrammable places in Jakarta for those who love to take OOTD photos or selfies. Here they are!

1. Hutan Kota GBK
To get into this city forest you can go through Pintu 5 GBK. You only need to walk if you use Transjakarta and get off at the GBK bus stop. Based on the information board, there are 10 points in the park, the entry and exit gates, commercial kiosks, security posts, amphitheatre park, trembesi pool, main plaza, dressing room, public toilets, main amphitheatre, and Cofftea House.

One of the most favourite spots for taking photos in GBK City Forest is a trembesi pool that features mini waterfall and small and medium sized rocks. The next favourite spot is the Cofftea House, which was one of the supporting facilities of last year's Asian Games. This thatched roof building can be used as a public space and venue for various events. Many visitors are engrossed in taking photos in front of this building against a backdrop of skyscrapers in Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.

2. GBK Footbridge

GBK footbridge has been revitalized since November 1, 2018, then re-opened and inaugurated by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan on 28 February 2019. The footbridge is equipped with 24-hour CCTV cameras, trash cans, and elevators.

GBK Footbridge uses white rectangular ornaments with spiral-mounted, makes it look amazing. Not without reason, the spiral rectangular ring is a symbol of the turmoil and enthusiasm of the Indonesian to continue to progress and develop. At the same time, a representation of the sporting spirit that characterizes the Gelora Bung Karno area.

3. Santhai
This Thai cafe was designed by the Arpose Project. You can find Santhai at the Lower Ground Kota Kasablanka mall. You will find wood panels with a blend of green and light brown as soon as you enter the Instagrammable cafe in Jakarta. There is also a wall decorated with various displays with exotic green plants provide a tropical atmosphere. Pink and white flamingos is one of visitors favorite spot who want to taking some OOTD photos at Santhai.

The display of food and drinks are also Instagrammable, like the purple spring roll with vla durian in it and drinks served on unicorn mini floaties. Just so cute!

4. Onni House
In addition to cafes, Onni House also has a flower shop to provide a different culinary experience for you. With an interior that resembles a house, Onni House is also decorated with antique furniture made of wood in the middle of a room dominated by white, presenting a combination of modern and vintage concepts.

In accordance with the signature of Onni Flower Studio, which is the owner of this cafe, all Onni House interiors are decorated with fresh green plants and unique retro-style furniture. Not to forget, there are also flower arrangements that are arranged very nicely on the exterior and become a favorite spot for visitors who love taking photos.

About the food, some menus that you should try are Yakiniku Rice Beef, Tofu Wakame Salad, and Chicken and Prawn Gyoza with Orange Ponzu.

5. Mangrove Ecotourism Centre PIK

Talking about Instagrammable places in Jakarta is certainly not separated from the Mangrove Forest in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta. The green mangrove forests and bamboo bridges that surround the place make Mangrove Ecotourism Centre PIK very pleasing to the eyes.

Tourists can also explore this place by boat or canoe. The price of a boat with a capacity of eight people is Rp 450,000, a boat with a capacity of six people is Rp 350,000. While rowing boat, canoe and frog boat are only Rp. 100,000.

Mangrove Ecotourism Centre PIK also provides lodging and it’s divided into some categories. Not to forget, there is a children's playground, a hall called Pendopo Fiscus Benyamina, to Bale Bengong Stage.
