It's great to be able to try different hair colors. However, doing these activities too often can actually damage your 'crown'. Here's how to care for colored hair so it doesn't get damaged.

1. Hair Mask
During the coloring process, hair will be exposed to chemicals, that's why it's important to improve hair nutrition with masks. Instead of using instant hair masks, it's much better if you make masks from natural ingredients like the following: Banana, honey, and coconut oil.

The way to make it is fairly easy, just by mixing two mashed bananas with one spoon of honey and coconut oil. Natural masks rich in protein are useful for dealing with dry and rough hair after coloring. Leave it for about 30 minutes, rinse thoroughly, and feel softer and more voluminous hair.

Avocado, Milk, & Almond Oil
Dry and dull hair after coloring can also be overcome with avocados. The trick is to mix one mashed avocado with half a cup of milk and one tablespoon of almond oil. Leave it for about 15 minutes for better results.

2. Serum
Apart from masks, serum is also needed to care for colored hair. Besides being able to provide nutrition, the serum also functions to overcome split ends so that it feels softer while maintaining hair color so it doesn't fade easily.

Serum can be applied after washing your hair when the hair is half dry. When applying, try not to touch the scalp so that the oil content in the scalp is not excessive.
